Solid bbq. There are a few spots in Arlington and this is a good option. Cute interior and friendly staff.

Today was bittersweet--we picked up some delicious breakfast biscuits for the last time until they have a pop-up, and of course, we had to stock up! Bought extras to freeze so we can get our fix until they're back. Huge thank you to Sloppy Mamas for consistently serving up amazing food and to their super friendly cashier who made the experience even better (I wish I had gotten his name). If you haven't tried their biscuits yet, don't miss out when they return! And don't sleep on the hash browns--they aren't your average deep-fried ovals!!

I found the food fine - got the pulled pork, brisket, cheddar jalapeño sausage and I enjoyed them all with the Kansas City and Georgia gold sauces. They just didn't stand out particularly. I liked the Mac and cheese, standard good but the potato salad was odd, didn't have a strong flavor just bland - not choosing a side to be acidic or creamy. The real stand out was the Puck's soda they had in their machine, we liked pretty much every flavor to the point my husband had to stop himself from drinking it all. The vibe is also great, super homey and cozy - just a great place to spend a cold January evening.

The NoVa barbecue scene has some standouts and then some meh. This place is closer to standout. My experience with the barbecue here has been great, but it definitely varies by who is working and also they 86 stuff regularly as the day goes so come early or do an order in advance if something is really important to you. Service is uneven. Some fantastic folks who will go out of their way to help and them some who make you feel like it's an imposition you're there.

Best BBQ spot in Arlington! Fast service, delicious food, excellent portion sizes for the price. You order at the counter and then grab a table. Self service sauces and toppings makes it easy to customize exactly how you want your food. I took my parents who are picky eaters and they loved it. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer and the Family Meal #1, with Mac and cheese, collard greens, potato salad and corn bread. More than enough food for 4 people (to include two men over 200lbs, so they're good eaters!) They have a parking lot and it wasn't crowded at 530pm on a Saturday night.

Family was craving some BBQ and glad to have found this place. We ordered ribs, turkey, and brisket which came out to over $30 for the plate. It was fresh and very delicious. There's a sauce bar with about 5-6 various options to select from. Being our first time, we sampled every sauce. Nonetheless, you will find the sauce to pair with your meats. The cheeseburger was tasty and priced at $7. Overall was a great experience and will definitely be back for more. Enjoy!

Delivery Review Only: The chopped pork sandwich was tasty as ever. It's a large portion of pork with pickles and slaw (I opt for no slaw). Add the Diablo or mustard sauce on the side and you won't regret it. The BBQ beans and collards are both tasty as well and worth a try. The hush puppies with tomato jam are also spot on. The food could've been hotter but that's on Uber Eats not the restaurant. Most NOVA BBQ is sub par at best but I always have an enjoyable BBQ meal from here.

We stopped by Sloppy Mama's while in the area, and it was a delicious meal! We did a build-your-own a la carte platter, with a 1/2 slab of ribs, a pound of prime brisket (fatty), and a side of coleslaw. Honestly, it was a tasty meal - I really enjoyed the fatty brisket, as it was super tender, flavorful, smokey, and yummy - I enjoyed their array of sauces, specifically the Kansas City Sauce (thick and sweet) and the Diablo Sauce (similar to Kansas City, but with a kick!). The hubs enjoyed his greens with a splash of vinegar. I loved the self-serve counter with the 'water' tanks of sauces so you can pour to your heart's content, Martin's sliced bread, pickles, and pickled onions. There were also ample to-go containers for any leftovers (which you will have). Portions are generous, staff are friendly & welcoming, and there's ample seating. I'd love to try their lunch specials on the next visit, like their chicken wings and cheeseburgers! There is a small lot for your car, and getting in can be a little tricky if you're coming from the opposite way. +tasty brisket! +yummy sauces +friendly service +ample seating +plenty of parking in small lot
